ABOUT ME

Onyx is a graduate (with Honours) from Kikkawa College in Massage Therapy, and a long standing experienced therapist who may integrate various healing modalities into a session. On her own healing journey Onyx became interested in learning more about the human energy field. This interest led her to several years of study in Celtic and Egyptian energetic healing traditions along with training in Tibetan Reiki, Thai Yoga Massage, and most recently Reconnective Healing. Along side her studies in energy healing, Onyx graduated in 1996 from ISIS- Canada as a certified Expressive Art Therapist. She has grown both professionally and personally as a therapist working with Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD), autism and emotional/mental imbalances.

In 1998 Onyx began to include Craniosacral Therapy into her practice and has since seen clients respond by receiving deep relaxation, realignment of body structures, and new insights from the internal shifts made via their body’s craniosacral system. Encouraged by the successful responses to Craniosacral therapy, Onyx has continued to deepen her skills with several study levels, including Craniosacral therapy for pediatrics. On many occasions she has teacher assisted for the Cranial Therapy Centre. The gentle unwinding of tension from the body’s tissues by Craniosacral therapy makes it a beneficial support to Onyx’s massage practice.
